The project will have as its main goal the search for the Longevity gene(s) and build a complete genetic, genealogical and medical database of the Zoroastrain community, thus leading us to a better understanding of human health care for the world. Head - Proteomics

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Protein Biochemistry - Proteomics Platform, Molecular biomarkers for CVD and osteoporosis, Apply for grants to foundations, institutes with a view to collaborate in the areas of mutual interest and those in which Avesthagen is interested. Initiate new programs for biomarker discovery in metabolic disease(s). Initiate collaborations for co-partnering with Pharma and Biotech Companies for business development for The Avestagenome Project). The successful candidate should be PhD / MSc / MS in Life Sciences or related discipline with 5-10 years stem cell / mammalian cell culture / biology experience.

Systems Architect

Applications should be lME or equivalent Computer Science (with Bioinformatics background) or Bioinformatics, with a sound knowledge of bioinformatics and data mining technologies and a strong foundation in system design, software architecture and web technologies knowledge of data structures and algorithms, standards and modern software implementations thereof, understanding of internet protocols, understanding of 00 software design principles, developing server-side components of database-driven web applications using Java / PHP / PERL, is essential. The incumbent will be responsible for helping develop several new technology components that will become part of our discovery platform. The job entails working closely with technical and scientific teams to research, architect and develop our core engine, including indexing, core search and visualization functions and architectures for perfomrmance and scalability optimisation for The Avestagenome Project.
