Software Engineer - Bangalore

You will work on problems in a number of areas, including cutting-edge information retrieval algorithms, scalability issues related to dealing with huge amounts of data and a rapidly increasing user population, and a variety of novel search features. Requirements: * BTech/BE/MTech in Computer Science * Strong C/C++ or Java programming skills * Substantial knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments * Exposure to designing and implementing large-scae, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval algorithms, network programming, Linux kernel and/or large software systems.

Software Engineer, Internal Applications - Hyderabad / Bangalore

As part of our Internal Systems team, you will build world-class systems to support the information needs of a wide range of business users across the company. You will be responsible for designing, building and supporting systems and tools to streamline business processes, automate tasks and provide real-time access to critical data within the company. You will interact closely with users to understand requirements, develop technical designs, implement and extend web applications, and oversee the complete application lifecycle. You will need to be comfortable with multi-tasking, handling interupts and interacting with globally distributed, virtual teams. The role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to see first-hand, the impact of your work on a company experiencing meteoric growth. Requirements: * BTech/BE/MTech in Computer Science * Strong foundation in Algorithms and Data Structures * Strong foundation in C, C++/Java, UNIX/Linux, HTML/XML and scripting * Exposure to extreme programming (XP) development and internal systems will be a plus.
