Job Description: Doing daily builds of PWEB, TRO, Penpay, VXML, SOF Plan choice projects to make sure code checks in from onsite/offshore does not cause any build problems. * To make sure the builds and basid deployments work fine before we release code to Release Engineering team to do the builds and deployments to test regions. This process should be automated to get code from ClearCase at specified time every day, and notify involved development teams if there are any build or deployment problems. * Current builds are based on Apache Ant, migration over to Apache Maven 2 based builds and additional things like running static Maven 2 based builds and additional thinks like running static code analysis tools like FindBugs, PMD, run JUnit tests with code coverage reports, generate a web site similar to Apache open source projects with javadoc and other reports etc. * Creating JUnit test cases for existing framework libraries to achieve 90% code coverage. Desired Profile: Developer should be familiar with J2EE/serverside Java technologies including Servlet/JSP, JDBC, Struts, SOAP based - web services, Apache Ant, Apache Maven 2, JBoss 3.2 x app server. * Should have good working knowledge of Linux OS with scripting experience. ClearCase or similar source code control system command line usage. * Should be good at analyzing and troubleshooting build/deployment issues. * Should be self-motivated, be able to work independently.
