Project Manager responsible for the project management of STB developments in the Pace India offshore development centre in Bangalore. The project Manager has responsibility for ensuring the projects delivered from the centre are on time, of the agreed quality and at the agreed cost. Working as part of the project delivery team and reporting to the General manager , the project managers are responsible for planning and managing the successful delivery of projects to meet the agreed program of work. The Pace India engineering centre provides full end to end product designs as well as component solutions to multiple Global customer account teams and core engineering teams. The successful candidate will need significant Experience and a proven track record in project managing STB developments and working with multi-site, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. Principal Responsibilities. Responsible for ensuring that projects/deliverables from Pace India are delivered on time, at the agreed costs and of the agreed quality. Working as part of the global project delivery team in planning and managing multiple projects (work breakdown, cost estimation and control, risk management, issue management, capability and capacity requirements etc). Liaising with and managing 3rd parties in the delivery of projects. Project Budget estimation and control. Assist in the Recruitment, Training and retention of staff. Driving performance, efficiency, process and quality improvements throughout the organisation Contract negotiation with 3rd parties Reporting and communicating project status to the business.Desired Profile:Must be Degree qualified in project management or Engineering discipline Must have 5+ years experience in project managing full life cycle STB developments.must have a proven track record in delivering complex STB related projects with multi-site, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. Managing teams of 20+ people. Must have experience in Managing multi million pound projects. Must have excellent man management and team building skills Must have good English and excellent interpersonal, communication and reporting skills. PCB Design Engineer (India)

PCB Design Engineer responsible for the design and update of custom printed circuit boards. The Pace India engineering centre provides full end to end product designs as well as component and modular solutions to multiple Global customer account teams and core engineering teams. The successful candidate will need significant PCB design experience and a proven track record in development and working with multi-site, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. Principal responsibilities: Produce high quality printed circuit board layouts to given standards ensuring Department/Project timescales are met Ensure the printed circuit boards fulfil required technical specifications. This will require good communication with all relevant Departments, Manufacturing, or any relevant third party Ensure any reported problems/queries from sources, both internal and external of the company, relating to printed circuit boards are addressed to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken where required. Participate in and contribute to formal Design and Project Reviews when necessary Desired Profile:Must be qualified in a Technical engineering related discipline. Must have 5+ years experience in High volume PCB Design. Must have hands on experience of mixed signal (analogue/high speed digital/RF) Printed circuit board design, preferably within high volume consumer market Must have Experience of using leading edge PCB Design tools such as Mentor Graphics Expedition Series. Working as part of the project delivery team and reporting to the Software Manager, the software team leaders are responsible for man management of the software teams and planning and delivering the software components of a project. The Pace India engineering centre provides full end to end product designs as well as component solutions to multiple Global customer account teams and core engineering teams. The successful candidate will need significant embedded software experience and a proven track record in managing software teams and developments as well as working with multi-site, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. Must have completed several projects utilising the full software engineering life cycle and using appropriate Structured Design Methodologies e.g. OOA/OOD. Must have 5+ years experience in STB software/system architecture and design. Must be experienced in embedded real time applications and operating systems for STB development. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and reporting skills Must have Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Principal Responsibilities. Technical Area Specialist Architects and creates specifications for major software subsystems, or overall system, as required and as outlined in Pace Product Development Process. Produce well structured, documented and maintainable code. Assist in definition and promotion of Pace defined quality standards for software engineering. Provide maintenance support for existing software to ensure prompt rectification of problems Ensure proper test, debug and verification of software prior to release. Contribute to institutionalisation of disciplines, process & tools and ensure adherence to Pace Product Development Process. Participate in, and contribute to, formal Design and Project Reviews Create work breakdown and estimates for New Projects/Systems. Configuration management in relation to software releases.
