Generate testing strategies, report status, and troubleshoot issues with developers. Devise new or improved techniques for solving problems. Assess new technologies and recommend solutions.
Participate in design or code reviews for test frameworks and test code. Implement standard software methodologies, models and practices as required. Produce thorough code enhancement and implementation documentation. Generate automation test code on existing frameworks and create new frameworks. Perform quality assurance testing of distributed, multi-tier, enterprise software product. Ability to project manage key aspects or entire product qualification efforts. Desired Profile. Experience Required: Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in white box testing. Qualifications:3+ years cumulative experience developing or testing commercial PC software.
White box testing experience is mandatory.
Programming language skills in C++, C#, .NET is a must. Knowledge of Coverty tool is a plus.
A strong technical background coupled with in-depth experience testing software for Microsoft Windows operating systems. Knowledge of Linux/Solaris is a big plus. Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites. BE in Computer Science /M.E/M.Tech or equivalent technical training and professional work experience. Experience in testing on Windows OS
Experience in PERL is a must
Knowledge of Exchange and Linux is desirable
Good communication skills and ability to own the responsibility Experience in leading a team of QA Engineers.
