Head Quality ControlCategory: Quality Control Job Profile: The candidate will be responsible for heading a well developed fully functional ISTA accredited Seed Quality lab. He will be responsible for upgrading and implementing new technologies across species of hybrid vegetable crops, flower seeds and field crops. Knowledge on techniques in molecular biology will be an advantage. He should be capable of coordinating the activities in seed processing, warehouse and packing. Required Skills / Experience: * PhD in Seed Technology or related fields with a strong background in seed physiology. * Minimum of 10 years experience in quality control lab preferably with exposure to seed industry and management systems. * Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational and negotiating skills * Knowledge of seed coating and seed enhancement technologies. * Knowledge of various seed processing operations and maintaining storage conditions for different crops. * Knowledge of ISTA testing and quality documentation.
