EADS-SMI Endowed Chair Professorship of Sourcing and Supply ManagementCategory: Teaching The EADS-SMI Chair Professor would lead a team of faculty, research assistants and doctoral students and work towards creating a global research programme of excellence in Sourcing and Supply Management. The Chair Professor will leverage his/her position to enhance and strengthen the interaction with partner institutions and industry. The EADS-SMI Chair of Sourcing and Supply Management at IIMB is supported by EADS and Supply Management Institute (SMI) in Europe. The EADS-SMI Chair Professor should have a PhD in Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or allied areas. He/she should have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching, and proven ability to manage relationships with industry. Apart from the regular salary as per the norms of the institute, the EADS-SMI Chair Professor will receive substantial additional compensation and will also have access to generous research and travel grants.
